my take is that the CXOs might sometimes have a completely different context to each team that defined a metric!
but yes - organisations need to learn to live with a certain level of metric inconsistency. trying toget everything right will take way too much resource
If orgs (atleast at CXO level) make peace with some amount of metric inconsistency -> few metric wars/metric reconcs.
how easy/difficult would be to carry this context to the CXO level ? (also in same way isnt' that the job of the metric in the firstplace)
