Babbage as a Service
We have built Babbage sufficiently to start offering this as a service! If interested, please reply to this and we can chat
Big news - we have started offering Babbage as a service. If you or someone you know wants to explore, we would love to have a conversation!
So, what do we offer?
A conversation between two bots...
In order to get a good idea of what we are building, picture this (not so) hypothetical conversation between an analyst and a CXO.
The analyst is showing a dashboard to the CXO. The latter looks at the data, and forms some hypotheses which he poses as questions to the analyst. The analyst either has the answers ready right away (the dashboard has been configured appropriately to answer the question), or goes back and does some analysis in which he validates the CXO’s hypotheses.
The CXO now has a new set of questions, which the analyst presently answers. And so on. Through this process, the CXO figures out “insights” which drives her strategy.
This can be modelled in our world as a pair of bots - an “analyst bot” and a “CXO bot”. The CXO bot looks at the data and generates hypotheses. The analyst bot validates the hypotheses, and based on both the data and this validation, the CXO bot generates further hypotheses, which the analyst bot validates. And so on and so forth.
Both the “analyst” and the “CXO” being bots means we can do things well-at-a-faster-rate. As you might have guessed, the CXO bot will be LLM based - we need a creative system here and can tolerate some bullshit since the output will anyway be verified. The Analyst bot will be a more staid predictable system.
Together, they will generate exceptional insight. Together, they form our “AI Data Analyst”.
...to provide exceptional insight
Think about your current analytics workflow - right now you either have highly rigid repeatable metric calculations, which appear in your dashboard; or entirely bespoke analyses, for which you need to rely on your analytics team.
It doesn’t all have to be this way - a lot of the currently “bespoke” questions answered by the analytics team are predictable, if only one were to look at the data in the dashboard. Technology available in 2024 means that this is actually a repeatable process, one that can be done by an AI data analyst - or a pair of bots that together function as an AI data analyst.
An AI analyst can explore far more hypotheses than a team of human analysts could. An AI analyst can also scale across the organisation much more than a team of humans - which means we can truly democratise data-driven decision-making (nice alliteration right?).
If this sounds like something you want to have in your organisation, we would love to talk to you! Just reply to this email or leave a comment here, and we can chat!
